This kit is for establishing if a particular man is the biological father of a child, and is for personal information only. If you require a test for any legal or other purpose then please give us a call on 0191 543 6405. £118 is the complete price for the testing kit and laboratory processing. This price includes a 2 working day turn around for results once your sampling kit has been received by the lab. Your samples are processed at our ISO 17025 accredited, UK based DNA testing laboratory. Once your results are ready a PDF of your report will be emailed to you. Please note, we also recommend that the mother of the child participates where possible, as it helps us to get you the most conclusive result possible. This is why we include a swab for her, and will process her DNA sample for no extra charge. The Geneblitz paternity test proves with 100% accuracy if a man is not the alleged father of a child. Conversely, a Geneblitz paternity test proves that a tested man is the alleged father of a child with at least 99.99% certainty (if the mother is involved in the testing process). Please note that this figure may be reduced if the mother of the tested child does not participate in the test. Our laboratory only accepts cheek cell samples, as we find it is the most pain free, quick and easy method of obtaining a good quality DNA sample. All people providing a sample for a Geneblitz DNA test must give their consent for the test by signing the consent form provided with the sampling kit. We will not process samples for any paternity test unless we have the signed (written) consent of each of the adult participants. If a child under 16 is involved, a person with parental responsibility for the child (or children) must sign consent on their behalf. In cases where the father signs consent for a child under the age of 16, we may ask for evidence of parental responsibility such as a birth certificate.
